Pure understatement: The new Blade One by IO Emobility moves its rider through the city inconspicuously yet eye-catchingly. The e-bike discreetly conceals its e-power in a lightweight carbon frame with a sporty silhouette and looks almost like a stylish, conventional bicycle at first glance. The rear drive is hardly noticeable. But at the latest, the handlebars that house the fully integrated LCD display reveal: The Blade One can do more.
The 250 watt motor specially developed for IO Emobility at the rear wheel of the pedelec supports the cyclist up to a top speed of 25 km/h - and all with minimal effort.
The seamlessly integrated LG battery with 36V and 10.4 Ah can be removed for charging as needed and provides up to 110 km of range (at the lowest support level). Five different levels are available via the pedal assistant on the handlebars.
The e-bike does not need a gearshift: The necessary force of up to 48 Nm is automatically transmitted to the rear wheel with the best translation. The integrated IO Blade One display provides all important information such as battery level or speed, and also has a charging port for smartphones.
The frame of the electric bike is made of carbon fibers, making the bike including the battery lightweight at 19 kg. So a few stairs are no problem.
The slim 28-inch city tires from KENDA have low rolling resistance and, together with the 5-spoke magnesium alloy rims, support a large range.
The LCD display with a digital dashboard for operation is seamlessly integrated into the cockpit. So the rider always has the most important information in view. Everything fits perfectly into the tidy design of the IO Emobility bike.
A high-quality gel saddle also provides high comfort on longer bike rides.
IO Emobility makes no compromises in terms of safety. Fully integrated hydraulic TEKTRO brakes offer precise braking power in all weather conditions.
In addition, the front light fused with the design with 40 lux ensures that the Blade One is not overlooked even in the dark. A lamp from Selle Royal illuminates the rear and can be operated via a push button switch.
The IO Emobility Blade One is available in high-gloss white or black.
It convinces with a clean and high-quality design that captures the necessary technical equipment according to the motto "Not too much and not too little" and hardly gives the impression of an e-bike during a quiet ride through the city.
